U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

The EPA is an independent agency of the United States government responsible for environmental protection. The mission of the federal government agency is to protect human health and the environment. The agency is led by an Administrator appointed by the President and approved by the Senate. During my time at the EPA, I’ve filled multiple positions including as a Public Affairs Specialist overseeing community involvement at sites impacted by land contamination, a Special Assistant supporting the Office of the Regional Administrator, and a Senior Public Affairs Specialist overseeing special projects for executives and department heads.
